aims of course:

to provide the knowledge and understanding of the different types of abuse and neglect and to enable learners to recognise signs and indicators of neglect and abuse.

identifying the different types of abuse and neglect

identify signs and indicators of possible abuse and neglect

understand what to do if abuse or neglect is suspected

through activities and handouts learners will gain knowledge required to support them to complete the unit 'Protecting People who have Learning Disabilities from Abuse' in the Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ) Induction Award level 2
