Aims of course:

For learners to be able to efectively mentor colleagues in their workplace through the Learning Disability Qualification.

Course content covers:

to develop an understanding of what a mentor is and the importance or the mentor role

awareness of the Learning Disability Qualification

to complete, through group activities, relevant mentor paperwork

the benefits of effective mentoring for the mentor and the organisation

the importance of effective feedback.
