To increase awareness of the impact that work practices and behaviours have on people we support, partners and colleagues.
Objectives - at the end of the session learners will be able to understand the meaning of equality and diversity, discrimination and equal opportunities, prejudice and stereo type. Have an understanding of the six key strands of diversity. Be able to identify discrimination, prejudice and stereo typical behaviour. Understand the impact of discrimination, prejudice and stereo typing on peoples lives.
